Overview

The SPL Season 2019 is the professional Smite league where 10 teams compete in LAN format for a chance to qualify for the SMITE World Championship 2020.

Format

  • Win/loss records are now season-long, meaning all games will go toward determining a team’s SMITE World Championship placement.

General schedule for SPL in 2019

  • Pre-Season:
    • 5 Weeks of play
    • From February 7th to March 7th
  • Phase 1:
    • Best of five sets, played Thursdays and Fridays
    • 13 Weeks of play
    • From March 28th to June 21st
  • All-Star Invitational
  • Mid-Season Invitational:
    • From July 8th to July 11th
  • Phase 2:
    • Best of five sets, played Thursdays and Fridays
    • 13 Weeks of play
    • From August 1st to October 25th
  • SWC 2020 Placement Round
    • From November 4th to November 8th
    • Double-elimination format
  • SWC 2020
    • From Noverber 15th to November 17th
    • Single-elimination bracket
